When I paint, colour and form become something not easily explained by words. These not quite knowable images and the process of making them, intrigue me. So I keep painting. This piece draws from remembered moments of peace at sea. Something I wish for sea turtles too.
Trained at Corcoran School of Art and University of Maine, Brenda has been painting and drawing for over forty years. Her work has been shown in group, duo and solo exhibitions. She’s happy to say that it has been purchased for collections both within the United States and internationally.
