This artwork was made by Loes Hak and her family. The size of this artwork is 63cm x 50cm.
For this piece, we collected all sorts of green trash on the east coast of Bonaire. If you look at the artwork from the side, it looks like a pile of trash; and when you stand in front of it, you’ll see a sea turtle. The trash forms a threat for sea turtles, and by collecting it, you can clean-up the beach and create something beautiful.
Loes Hak studied interior design, and has completed a number of projects including art workshops and furniture restoration.
