Jon Clark is professor head of Glass at Temple University, Tyler School of Art. He received an Master of Arts from The Royal College of Art in London. Jon Clark established the Glass area of the Craft Department in 1973. His students have gone on to teach and head Glass programs at Tulane University, Virginia Commonwealth University, University of Louisville, Alfred University, Cleveland Institute of Art, and many others.
Jon Clark has received Pennsylvania Council for the Arts, Fellowship and two National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships. His work is featured in several collections including: Corning Museum of Glass; Kunst Museum, Düsseldorf, Germany, Nijima Glass Museum, Tokyo, Japan; Tittot Museum of Glass, Taipei, Taiwan; and Museum and Gallery of Art in Western Australia, as well as a number of private collections.
