This artwork was made by Viktor Wijnand. The size of this piece is 62cm wide by 122cm high. It is made out of pieces of plywood jigsaw, like a wooden puzzle, glued together in several layers, which gives a three dimensional effect.
After finishing art school in Holland, Viktor moved to the Caribbean and lived on both Curacao and Bonaire for many years. He worked for a lot of graphic design studios and advertising agencies. Since he is back on the island, he works as a manager of a small hotel and is active as a freelance designer. When he is not working, he likes to spend time with his family. From time to time Viktor Wijnand makes some artworks and he likes to go around with his camera to take pictures. He frequently travels to other countries to do race management for sailing and windsurfing events. And not least important, he works with STCB as a board member.
